I'm going to try and go with simpler layouts for awhile. It looks a bit cleaner, focuses on the pictures more, and doesn't take me 20 hours to finish. Maybe I'll even finish my 2007 pictures by the end of the year. Paper Kit: Boys Will Be Boys by A Work In Progress- designs by Vicki
So since the only pictures I can access right now are the ones Julie's dad gave me, I guess I'll start a new wedding album! I'll be using the same paper kit throughout the album, which is: Paper Kit: "Summer Wedding" by Bon Scrapatit Designs
Don't know why I'm on such a Christmasy kick....maybe I'm already wishing for it. Paper Kit: Noel Enchante by Scrapdoll Tree and Button Elements: "Down Home Christmas" by Designs by Angela Template: #17 Mandagirl
Okay, last year for Christmas cards we took a zillion pictures trying to find just one that would work on a Christmas card. But then I thought the zillions of picture was so cute I wanted to include them all in a layout....so voila! Template: Me Paper Kit: "Down Home Christmas" by Designs by Angela
Wow, I've been really prolific today! (Comes from not having any semblance of plans other than my brother's kids' being over, which in turn inspired me to finally get the cousins page done). Paper Kit: "Ready to Go" by Dúnia Stella Acauan and Tania Cordova Shaw Layout is based on a layout I saw online and goshdarnit, I can't for the life of me find the link! I'll keep looking.
I absolutely LOVED this kit. I got it by subscribing to the Scrapbooks Gone Digital newsletter. It is a HUGE kit and I hope to get some more use out of it. Again, I've tried to control myself with the elements and I've added the inside of Stevie's invitation as well for a personal touch. I think I'm going to try for cleaner, straighter lines for awhile, I like the way it looks so tidy.
This layout has been designed with the following adage in mind: "Less is More". I've discovered that I become overly excited about the besquillions of elements and papers in each kit, and end up trying to fit them all in. In this layout, I've tried to contain myself. Oh when, WHEN will I be finished with all these 2007 pictures? I've already taken a besquillion pictures in 2008! Well, at least I'll have plenty to keep me busy... Paper Kit: "Beachy Keen" by Scrippity Scrap Designs Template: Yin Designs #41
Lovin' this kit! And Bonnie, I hope I did justice to your adorable elements! Birthday Fun Kit created by Josie Stewart & Cherity Andersen Birthday Cake and Balloons created by Silver Rocket Scraps No Template (as you can probably tell!!)
This is another one of those zillion photo templates by Yin of Yin. I scanned in parts of the program from the concert to give it some history. It's not hard to make a layout look good when all it is is pictures and memorabilia! Paper from "Freddie" Kit by LouCeeCreations.
ABSOLUTE THIEVARY! I nicked this idea from Bonnie's website, and I didn't change the template AT ALL! I just used it as a quickpage, but loved the way it looks so I thought I'd post it anyway. As for the bluebonnet elements, I just found and image I liked off 'Google' and erased the background. Worked like a charm! Template: Template #47 from Yin of Yin Designs (who has absolutely STELLAR templates, by the way)
I love this template, but I think I might use another one afterwhile, just because I love these pictures and I think I might want them a bit bigger in the layout. Anyways... Paper Kit: "Happiness Is" by twoboyz00 Template: "Tied Together Template" by Tracy's Scraps (she has lots of great templates, if you want to go check it out!)
I got really emotional while doing this page. It finally turned out the way I wanted. I used Bonnie's new and absolutely wonderful "Spunky Girl" kit (and as I have no little spunky girls of my own --as of yet-- I thought I would scrap something close to my heart.)
I absolutely cheated on this one. This is supposed to be a template from Mandagirl, but I ended up just using it as a quick page. I didn't change a darn thing. I guess I could have used some cute papers, but what can I say? I have a trillion pictures and this one was just a perfect fit. If you want to snag it, go check out Mandagirl's blog (a very cool one). The pages she did using this template are very cute.
